Cover Regulator
Regulates the airflow and precisely controls the temperature.

Dome with chimney
The ceramic dome opens and closes easily thanks to the spring mechanism. The ceramic has a protective glaze layer on the outside.

Having high thermal insulation properties, ceramics creates an internal air flow, ensuring uniform and fast cooking of your dishes.
Stainless steel grating
The grid is the main working surface for frying and baking products.
Fire ring
It is installed on top of a ceramic fire bowl, increasing the distance between the grate and the burning charcoal. A heat shield can also be installed on the ring, putting the oven into baking and languishing mode.
Grid
It is located at the bottom of the fire bowl and serves as a surface for placing charcoal. It has openings for the passage of air flow and the fallout of ash down for its subsequent removal.
Ceramic fire bowl
The bowl is located at the bottom at the base of the base and is filled with charcoal no higher than the upper edge of the bowl itself. The bowl, having complex openings, together with an open flap provides a continuous and optimal air flow (with the Regulator lid open).
Base
Heavy-duty thick-walled insulated ceramics have a protective glaze coating that prevents chipping and fading.
Draft door
Together with the Lid Regulator, it regulates the air supply to the charcoal burning zone, thereby controlling the temperature. The flap makes it easy to remove accumulated ash.

History of Green Kamado

Origins

Green Kamado has its roots in the past thousands of years ago. Archaeologists, studying the culture of East Asia, found ancient artifacts (clay vessels) that were more than 3,000 years old. The clay vessels were a traditional clay stove on firewood – the prototype of the Green Kamado. Many peoples in Asia liked this oven, and they fell in love with it, began to actively use it in everyday life. The Japanese called her by the affectionate name "kamado", which means "hearth" or "oven".

Kamado was a round clay pot with a domed lid, designed for steaming rice. In the last century, when visiting Japan, Americans noticed the kamado oven and began to bring it home as a souvenir. So, the wonderful Kamado furnaces were learned outside of East Asia, and now kamado has become a general term for this type of ceramic furnaces.

Everyone who tried dishes from the Kamado oven loved it; and the ovens themselves continued to be gradually improved using available knowledge, modern technologies and innovative materials.

A team of outstanding engineers and culinary enthusiasts got carried away with this delightful direction, trying to create a Kamado oven that would combine all the significant achievements and advantages of its predecessors, while bringing important and useful innovations to them.

Green Kamado has undergone many important changes: there is a regulator cover at the top, and a draft door at the bottom, for better temperature control. Firewood was switched to charcoal as the main fuel, which contributed to excellent temperature control.

The high temperature is ideal for fast cooking of steaks, burgers, sausages, while the low temperature allows you to cook large pieces of meat for a longer period of time in Low & Slow mode. And if you add a little wood chips to your Green Kamado, it will make your meat even more flavorful.
